More and more people are getting infected with coronavirus and it attracts others who want to make money on fear and panic. Dedicated shops and offers on sales platforms like Allegro and Amazon offer special protective masks that are highly overpriced.

Masks prices are several times higher that in normal shops like pharmacies. It is taking advantage of misinformation and panic by foul sellers. Just a reminder: masks should be worn by people who may be infected so they don’t infect others. It is not to be worn by people who are healthy and don’t want to get infected.

Due to the fact that there are so many offers for overpriced masks websites like Amazon and Allegro decided to step in. Amazon has already deleted offers like these and Allegro is deleting them as reports from clients come by.

CyberTipRemember that you can report every offer on the website if it is fraudulent – after logging in look for the right option.
